TechKnowSys Corp. is committed to building secure websites that protect your customers' privacy and safeguard credit card and other sensitive information. The following statement describes the general information-gathering and usage practices of the websites we build.
How we safeguard credit card account numbers, card code numbers, and expiration dates
- Only essential information is stored. We do not store the Card Validation Code, any PIN Numbers or any expiration dates. We do not store more than the first four and/or last four numbers of credit cards.
- The websites we deploy comply with the PCI Data Security Standard Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
- TechKnowSys does not store any credit card information on a computer connected to the Internet
How we safeguard customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Only essential information is stored.
- We encourage merchants to remove personal information from the web server and store it in a secure location as often as possible.
- We encourage merchants to regularly change the passwords used to access the website and database.
- We encourage merchants to limit the amount of personal information sent by insecure means, such as email.
- We encourage merchants to protect their server with a dedicated firewall.
- We encourage merchants to run anti-virus software on their server.
- We encourage merchants to ensure the latest operating system security patches are applied.
- TechKNowSys stores it's client information on a password-protected computer protected by a firewall
How we safeguard credit card transaction information
- Credit card information is transmitted between the customer's browser and the merchant's server only through a connection secured by a valid SSL certificate.
- Credit card information is transmitted between the merchant's server and the credit card gateway only through a connection secured by a valid SSL certificate and using the most secure method provided by the credit card gateway.
- Only essential information is stored. We do not store the Card Validation Code, any PIN Numbers or any expiration dates. We do not store more than the first four and/or last four numbers of credit cards.

- We encourage merchants to regularly change the passwords used to access their credit card gateway account.
- We encourage merchants to limit access to the credentials related to their credit card gateway account.
- We encourage merchants to carefully monitor the transactions processed through their account to watch for signs of unauthorized access, such as a higher-than-usual number of transactions, transactions with random amounts ranging from one penny to thousands of dollars, or transactions with differing billing and shipping addresses.
- We encourage merchants to protect their server with a dedicated firewall.
- We encourage merchants to run anti-virus software on their server.
- We encourage merchants to ensure the latest operating system security patches are applied.
- TechKnowSys performs it's own credit card transactions only by securely logging in to our credit card provider's web terminal.
